About 50km and roughly two hours from Srinagar. The gondola runs in two stages — the first up to Kongdoori, the second considerably higher toward Apharwat Peak, snow-capped most of the year. Queues for the second stage can run long in peak season, so an early start from Srinagar matters more here than almost anywhere else on this list.
